Manchester based B2B agency, Marketecture, has been shortlisted for a CIPRide Award for it's work on a centenary PR campaign for North West business J Rosenthal & Son Ltd.
Marketecture’s nomination in the ‘Best Campaign £10,000 and Under’ category is for its ‘Raising the Curtain on the Rosenthals’ campaign, on behalf of the successful family run business based near Bury, Greater Manchester. Marketecture and J Rosenthal have worked together since March 2011 and in that time have received coverage in a variety of trade and regional press.
“Originally, J Rosenthal had wanted to go down the advertising route but Marketecture advised them that PR would be the most appropriate and cost-effective tactic for raising their profile within the soft furnishings industry. We used J Rosenthal’s up and coming centenary celebrations, expansions plans and revised brand positing to engage media interest before drip feeding more product-orientated material,” said Marketecture PR and Communications Director, Abi Buckley.
“Our approach to the campaign has seen us receive over 20 trade mentions between March and August, far exceeding the one mention per month target. The regional campaign has had an equally impressive run, with 12 mentions in total.”
J Rosenthal’s Managing Director, Harry Rosenthal adds “working with Marketecture has been a pleasure from day one. They really understand the business, how we wanted to be portrayed and the publications we wanted to target.”
Marketecture has also been nominated for ‘Best Integrated Campaign’ at the B2B Marketing Awards and hopes to further add to its growing award wins come November.
The CIPRide Awards winners will be announced at the Hilton, Manchester, on the 23rd November 2011.
