I’m a huge Mad Men fan. It makes me long to work in a 1960’s New York advertising agency – swigging whisky and telling clients just how it is. Although with the inherent sexism of the decade, I’d be more likely to be a typist looking for a husband than an actual Ad Man. And I hate whisky.
For this blog, I was going to compare the differences (and similarities) between today's marketing environment and the advertising world of Sterling Cooper, but today's run away with me and so I think I'll save that for later.
So after another mad working week in a 2010 Manchester marketing agency, here’s your way to join Sterling Cooper. I’m sure Donald Draper would not approve.
